Olasunkanmi (Ola) Kuewumi

Associate Lawyer

Ola is a Winnipeg-based lawyer with a rich and diverse legal background. Before
immigrating to Canada, she practiced as a general lawyer in Nigeria, where she gained
broad experience across civil, family, criminal, and property law. Her early years in practice
laid the foundation for a career built on integrity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of
people’s legal and personal needs.

Upon relocating to Canada, she completed her articles with the Manitoba Prosecution
Service, where she honed her skills in legal analysis, advocacy, and public service. This
experience not only deepened her understanding of Canadian law but also reinforced her
commitment to justice and community-focused practice.

Today, she focuses her practice on Residential Real Estate, Wills and Estate
Administration, helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most sensitive
transitions. Whether drafting a will, applying for probate, or guiding executors through
complex estate matters, she brings clarity, empathy, and precision to every file. She takes
the time to understand each person’s story, ensuring that their wishes are respected and
their loved ones protected.

What truly sets her apart is her love of people. She believes that law is not just about rules,
it’s about relationships, legacies, and listening.

Fluent in English, Pidgin and Yoruba, she proudly serves a diverse clientele and
understands the importance of cultural sensitivity. Her practice is built on trust,
compassion, and a genuine love for helping people navigate life’s transitions with
confidence.

Outside of work, Ola cherishes spending quality time with her family. Whether sharing
meals, enjoying outdoor activities, or simply being present, she finds joy and balance in the
moments that matter most.
