Charitable Giving

I have been blessed with a giving community that makes up my clients. When I started my firm, I had no clients. I did not inherit or buy a book of business. I went to see people I played hockey with growing up, or people I knew from school, or people my family and friends knew and said “You don’t look healthy, you should make a will.” They laughed, told me I looked worse, then made a will, and told me about so and so who was buying a house.

All these people referred me to people they knew, or worked with, and my practice grew, from the people in my community. Now that I can, we try to support our community. Here are some examples of our support:

Manitoba Realtors Shelter Foundation: I am on the board of Governors for this organization that supports shelter related charities. For each file that we bill, we donate $10.00 to this organization.

We also sponsor their Golf Tournament and other events.
